Digital Dots is looking for a Digital UI/UX Designer, someone with the confidence and has a portfolio of proven experience to join our team.
You as a ‘Digital UI Designer’ will have a solid background in website design. The skills with mobile app design is preferred, but not essential.
As a Senior Web Designer, you will work across client briefs from initial orientation and definition to final design and implementation.
Technically, you’re savvy and speak ‘dev’ when required. You are not afraid of change and enjoy the twists and turns of problem solving through design.
Requirements
- Quickly understand a design brief and its objectives.
- Design highly-engaging based on the client’s requirements.
- Innovative, understands digital products;
- Has worked with web front end, back end solutions;
- Delivers pixel perfect designs and ensures they remain that way throughout;
- Meets deadlines and exceeds expectation whenever possible;
- Is constantly looking to grow and help others do the same;
- Works across multiple projects at any one time.
Job tasks and responsibilities
- Work across client briefs, delivering outstanding design thinking and solutions;
- Work with developers and project managers bringing designs to life on time;
- Contribute to the continual improvement of our creativity and processes;
- Manage own time to deliver to the highest standards;
- Take ownership and responsibility for work assigned;
- Keep up with current trends / innovations within the Digital and Technology space.;
- Pro-Actively show interest in picking up new skills & techniques.
Skills and experience
- Fully competent across design requirements and parameters for web.
- Exposure to, or an understanding of Javascript / jQuery / HTML & CSS
- Conceptual design thinking – able to formulate ideas for new business presentation;
- A proven portfolio of work to demonstrate the above.
